Application fees are generally nonrefundable
The disclosed application fee pays for intake, verification, administrative review, screening, and related processing. Unless law or the property-specific disclosure requires otherwise, the fee becomes nonrefundable when processing begins, even if the application is denied, withdrawn, incomplete, or another applicant is selected.
No reservation or approval guarantee
Payment does not reserve the property, establish queue priority, guarantee approval, create a lease, or prevent consideration of other applicants under published criteria.
Limited exceptions
A refund or correction may be issued for a verified duplicate charge, processor error, unauthorized transaction confirmed through the appropriate process, an amount collected contrary to the displayed disclosure, property withdrawal before processing begins, or when mandatory law requires a refund.
Processing already performed
Once processing or screening has begun, later withdrawal, changed plans, failure to provide information, failure to qualify, or selection of another applicant does not create a refund right unless law requires otherwise.
Billing problems
Contact the operator promptly with the applicant name, property, date, amount, and processor reference. This policy does not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
